New this weekend at 11 Kettle Farm: traditional Polish makowiec!
We’re excited to introduce our homemade Polish poppy seed roll, known as makowiec. This traditional favorite features tender yeast dough wrapped around a rich filling of poppy seeds, raisins, honey, and walnuts, then finished with a light lemon glaze.
Makowiec is a taste of Polish tradition and the kind of baking that feels at home around a family table. We make it in small batches with clean, carefully selected ingredients and no artificial flavors or preservatives.
