From the fields, kitchen & family
The 11 Kettle Farm Journal
Real stories from our family farm: what is baking, what is growing, how the animals are doing, what we are learning, and the work behind the food that reaches the farm stand.
A Working Farm Is Always Changing
Some weeks the story is sourdough and coffee cake coming out of the kitchen. Other weeks it is hens returning to production, pigs on pasture, garlic coming out of the soil, a certification milestone, or one of our children learning another piece of farm life. We keep this journal because transparency matters to us. The finished product is only one small part of the story.
These are real 11 Kettle Farm updates kept here on our own website so customers can follow the farm over time, not just see whatever happens to be newest on social media.
